I, named Jimena

In 2007 I began to write a draft to create a fictional story inspired by Ximena Muñiz, which I ended up abandoning in 2012 when I decided to merge it with another story that had begun a few months earlier, in the summer of 2011.

"I, named Jimena" is not the story of the woman of the eleventh century, but of a woman in her fifties, born in the same place, and whose name is due to the lady since she was a source of inspiration for her father.

The current Jimena, tells the story of her at the end of the nineties. Divided into two parts, in the first "God preseve me of punishement" following the words of the epitaph, the main characters of the story are presented, in addition to Jimena, this small universe is populated by Sofía, Amalía, Néstor, Dario and Fernando. Some of those characters remain in the second part " The Unforgiving Fates" who pulverize everything and who play in some way with the story of Jimena, as in the past according to the epitaph, they played with Ximena.
