Living is urgent?

Sometimes death knocks on your door unexpectedly, other times it is a foretold story. Covid has begun to be the messenger of more or less profound changes in our way of living and feeling.
The immediacy - which was already making a hole in our day to day - has become urgent, these days social networks are filled with phrases such as "Living is urgent" "do it today" "" tomorrow is late "etc. It only counted with the present, I have begun to disagree.
Living is our chore, but if you stick to immediacy and urgency, to desires and do only what you like or want to do and it gives you pleasure, you can narrow your sights, stick only to the obvious, abandoning everything else. , including striving for difficult achievements that you can only relish in the future. "Sow" today to pick up "in the future", cultivating something as necessary as patience (while you are waiting) and temperance ( when you need to accept what frustrates you)
At the same time, movements are emerging that demand minimalism, living slowly, seeking in some way the same as that.
This type of dilemmas, of how to face life from different perspectives on a recurring theme for me, is why Jimena and Sofía are two apparently very different proposals to live, although deep down they debate the same issues with similar uncertainties.
Do not do anything, remain silent, disconnected from the urgent, immediate and what you want today, turning to help others, forgetting a bit about your wishes, waiting and working on projects that will end in the future, perhaps unattainable because of your age, it is also a way of living and moving forward and giving your life meaning.
What do you think?
